A Taylorcore garage door is constructed of top quality materials:
- 26 gauge hot-dipped galvanized steel and multi-coat rust protection on both the inside and outside face sheets
- roll formed laminated steel
- rigid foam core insulation
- solid Timberstrand® end stiles
- 20 gauge steel hinge reinforcements.

Step Two
The Steel is then punched, drilled, rolled and twisted to create intricate and unique designs.

- Hard finish coat of baked-on enamel
- Baked-on primer for additional rust protection and paint adhesion
- Chromic rinse to prevent paint blistering
- Phosphate coating for improved paint adhesion

Taylorcore's exclusive wood-graining process creates a deep wood-grain finish that looks and feels like natural wood. It's the perfect combination: the strength and durability of steel and the rich texture of wood.
Full-Length Weather Seal
Taylorcore's full-length, flexible vinyl bottom weather seal provides all-weather protection. The seal conforms to the garage floor surface to reduce air and water infiltration. This is especially important in climates with significant amounts of rain or snow.
